I enjoy working at Nursery Days and it is the most rewarding job. I enjoy the bond I have with my key children, parents and staff.

Listen to music. Go for a walk.

Watching them flourish, grow and develop knowing I had an impact also seeing their big smile when they see you.
What is the bravest thing you’ve done?
Have an operation – I hate needles. Applying for this job on my own – I used to be shy.

Being accident prone.

Standing back and seeing the children engaged and having experiences I could only have dreamed of.
What is your favourite colour?
Purple or black.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Watch my children take part in sports. Socialise with the other slightly crazy football mums.
What is the best thing about working with children?
Being there to support children with challenges and seeing them reach their full potential.
What is the toughest thing about working with children?
Saying goodbye even knowing they are fully ready and prepared. We miss them.
What is the bravest thing you’ve done?
18 hours of labour with no pain relief (no medal given!), admitting defeat (that was really tough), finding the next 7 hours much easier.
If you were famous, what would you be famous for?
Guessing the size of items such as furniture and space. Honestly, it’s real talent!
If you could listen to only one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hall of Fame by The Script. All children should hear it.
What do you do to relax?
Spend time in my house. It doesn’t happen often but I love it.
If a celebrity could play you in a movie about your life, who would it be?
I’d love to say Mila Kunis but Dawn French would be a better fit.
