Nursery Days Children's Nursery is situated in the grounds of The Old School in the rural village of Upchurch. We provide childcare for children from the age of 3 months to 5 years. Children here enjoy fun-filled days of original, attention-holding activities designed to support learning and forge firm friendships. Our light, spacious, yet cosy and warm nursery has been devised by childcare experts.

What We Offer
We are vastly experienced and knowledgeable after years of early years practice as a team. We know that choosing a nursery is a big decision and understand what is important to parents and children. We are aware of the demands and pressures parents have in their lives and so offer many different flexible sessions to suit our individual parents needs. From funded or self funding places to vouchers from work, we will always try to work out what will work best with you.
We are always increasing the fun and opportunities for our children. Recently we have greatly developed our Forest School at the Orchard and have a new Shepherds Hut for School Readiness and another being built for our youngest children to go to the Orchard.
Each our our Rooms has their very own Nursery Garden and our babies have a brand new Classroom with a crawl or toddle into grass play garden attached.
We have some wonderful animals at nursery, and the children adore caring for them all. We have Chickens, Guinea pigs, Fish, two pet mini Donkeys who are brother and sister called Jasper and Blossom and a Tortoise called Elvis.
We also have a brand new Minibus to go on the most amazing adventures to the local farm shop, pet shops, woodland areas and lots more.

Funding Information
We’re proud to offer Funded Early Entitlement places to help families with childcare costs. All 3 and 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours per week, which we stretch to 11.18 hours weekly across the year at our all-year-round nursery. Working parents of children aged 9 months to 5 years can access 30 hours, stretched to 22.36 hours per week — giving you consistent support all year.
Our nursery is open every week except Christmas week, so you can plan your work schedule with confidence. To qualify for 30 hours, parents must work 16+ hours per week, and it applies to:
